Riverside Panthers Swimmers Ready For PIAA Championships

The 2018 PIAA Swimming and Diving Championships will be taking place this week at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania and will feature five hopeful Panther swimmers.

The Championships are schedule to take place Tuesday, March 13th through Thursday, March 15th at the Kinney Natatorium on Bucknell University campus.

The Riverside swimmers will race as follows:

200 Medley Relay – seeded 6th ( back – Josiah Shaffer, Breast -Dylan Griffith, Fly – Dean Kralic, Free -Donnie Paracca )
100 Fly – Dean Kralic Senior -seeded 1st
200 Free Relay – seeded 9th – Dean Kralic, Josiah Shaffer, Dylan Griffith, Donnie Paracca
100 Back – Josiah Shaffer sophomore seeded 15th
400 Free Relay seeded 11th – Dean Kralic, Josiah Shaffer, Hunter Nulph, Donnie Paracca

“The boys only swam one event each at WPIAL in order to try and make it in 3 relays. Big risk that paid off,” said Coach Gwen Nulph in email. “The boys will be working hard and resting up before championships.”

“We plan to have a team dinner. I like to make sure they carb up before the big day! Keep an eye on them. 😊,” concluded Nulph.
