Introducing a new concept in local worship – God’s Choice in Ellwood City.
The Ellwood City Free Methodist Church on Glen Avenue is beginning a program called God’s Choice on Wednesdays. This is a ministry aimed at special needs folks, whether it’s physical, mental, or emotional. The worship service will be held weekly with food, fellowship and fun.
“It’s our goal not only to have these folks come and get something from it, but also to become part of it. Whether they like to sing, want to play an instrument, or help with the less fortunate clients, we hope to integrate them into the service and help make it theirs,” said Pastor Ray Start in a press release.
The Ellwood City service will be held every Wednesday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Fellowship Hall at the Free Methodist Church, located at 412 Glen Avenue.
There are currently God’s Choice churches meeting in: East Liverpool, OH; Monaca, PA; Rochester, PA; Kittaning, PA; Butler, PA and more.
“The worship welcomes all people to join us for good food, God’s word, singing, giveaways and more,” said Start.
