Maudress “Maudie” Anna Boots, 85, formerly of Portersville passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Northview Estates.
Born November 6, 1932 in Portersville, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Kennedy Frazier.
Maudie worked at the Butler Hospital for 20 years in the Anesthesia Department. She was an active and devoted member of the First Church of God where she served as their treasurer for many years. Maudie cherished time spent with her family. Family and Church were her life.
Survivors include three daughters, Connie (David) Cunningham of Ellwood City, Cathy (Craig) Vrooman of Baden, Carla (Rick) Leasure of Erie; three step children, Jeff (Carrie) Boots, Lori (Carl) Pentz, and Alana (Bob) Smiley; seven grandchildren, Eric, Briana, Kala, Chris, Lindsay, Kylie, and Kelsey; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Kerry in 1969 and Allan “Jake” Boots in 1995. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Bessie Pifer, Jean Ketterer, and Edna Graham.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, January 5 from 4 to 7 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Funeral Services will be held at the First Church of God on Saturday at 11 am with Pastor Phil Conklin officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
