Activities taking place at the Ellwood City Area Public Library include the following:
Wednesday, December 20, at 10:00 a.m. — “Coloring for Adults,” a weekly program that is free and open to the public. “Coloring for Adults” is a program designed to help reduce the stresses of everyday life. Everyone is welcome, so call the library at 724-758-6458 for more information.
Thursday, December 21, at 3:00 p.m. – “Food 4 Thought,” a book discussion group for students in 9th grade and up. The group meets monthly for book discussion and pizza. The group will discuss the book, “Unwind,” by Neal Shusterman. Call the library for more information.
Thursday, December 21, at 6:00 p.m. — Adult Knitting Group whose members meet weekly to work on individual projects. New members are welcome, so call the library for more information.
“Movie Night for Adults” will not be held in December or January, but will resume for 2018 in February. Call the library after the new year begins to discover the titles of the films to be shown and the dates the movie nights are planned.
The library will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day – Monday, December 25, and Monday, January 1, in observance of the holiday season. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, December, 26, and Tuesday, January 2.
