About the Hope House of Ellwood City
The homeless shelter is specified to cater for the needs of full households, not just small households or individuals, which makes it unique to the tri-state county area. The shelter is a donated move-in ready house near the post office in Ellwood City and provides a “community” living standard for up to three local families at a time. The shelter houses families for up to six months, while centering efforts on helping the families prepare to be financially, mentally, and educationally stable on their own.
