“Attention all students – we have one really cool thing to report this week that has something to do with this weekend,” Giovanna, an Ellwood City elementary school student, stated during the Perry-Hartman school news production centered around the Let There Be Lights weekend.
She then furthers on, professionally narrating the events to take place this weekend while clips of past year’s events play.
The schools record news-like productions to air on the school TVs, which not only helps prepare the participating students for careers in production and media, but also keeps the students who watch it up to date on the local happenings.
