Mrs. Dorothy M. Barrett, 90, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 at her daughters residence in Beaver Falls.
Mrs. Barrett was born on August 8, 1927 in New Brighton to the late Joseph Hagans and Verda Penney. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1945. Dorothy had worked at Airway Industries in West Pittsburgh for several years, and later as a homemaker. She enjoyed coloring, watching reality TV and soap operas.
Mrs. Barrett is survived by her daughters Michelle (James) Dashield of Beaver Falls and Traci Moore of Los Angeles, CA, her sons Craig Goatley of Sacramento, CA, Leonard Goatley of Beaver Falls, and Kim Goatley of Columbus, OH, her 9 grandchildren Shawna Christian, Dion Goatley, Damion (Lynda) Barrett, Kevin Larry, Brandon (Shannon) English, Matthew Goatley, Julius Moore, Tre Moore, and Ramiah Richardson, and her 22 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Laura Dunlop of Saddle River, NJ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Gus Leonard Goatley, her second husband Hardy Barrett, Jr., her sister Violet Walker, and her brother Malcolm Eady.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 11:00 am until the time of the Services at Noon at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services. Rev. Jimmy Johnson will officiate the service.
