It’s almost time to vote! Tomorrow, November 7, 2017, the public will vote for their chosen candidates to fill the four Ellwood City Borough Council and four Ellwood City School Board seats.

Remember why voting is important – these officials make decisions about how YOUR taxpayer money will be spent for the betterment of the community!
If you’re unsure about where your polling place is it will be printed on your voter registration card or you can call your county election office, or you can use this online tool by entering your address.
If you are a First-Time Voter, be sure to check what you will need to bring with you on Election day.
In addition to proper identification, you may choose to bring the following items with you to the polls:
- A list of candidates on the ballot
- A list of key issues or specific proposals that are on the ballot
If you’re voting for the first time in an upcoming election, the information below can help you ensure you’re prepared once you arrive at the polls. All voters who appear at a polling place for the first time must show proof of identification. Approved forms of photo identification include:
- Pennsylvania driver’s license or PennDOT ID card
- ID issued by any Commonwealth agency
- ID issued by the U.S. Government
- U.S. passport
- U.S. Armed Forces ID
- Student ID
- Employee ID
If you do not have a photo ID, you can use a non-photo identification that includes your name and address. Approved forms of non-photo identification include:
- Confirmation issued by the County Voter Registration Office
- Non-photo ID issued by the Commonwealth
- Non-photo ID issued by the U.S. Government
- Firearm permit
- Current utility bill
- Current bank statement
- Current paycheck
- Government check
