Frances J. Campbell, 94, formerly of Hogue Rd. passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the Carriage Manor in New Castle.
Born July of 1923 in Tug Hill, New York, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Myrtle Hopseker Rogers. Frances was married to Ernest Raymond Campbell who passed away March 2, 1995.
Mrs. Campbell was an Elementary School Teacher for 24 years in the Laurel School District. She was a member of the Rose Point Reformed Presbyterian Church. Frances was an avid reader. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, Donald (Cheryl) Campbell of Hazelton, PA, Roger (Diana) Campbell of Ellwood City; daughter, Amy (William) Puryear of Hilliards, PA; two sisters, Sarah Edwards of Kentucky, Donna Smith of Florida; brother, Art Seamans of California; seven grandchildren, Jill, Seth, Donald, Dean, Lynn, Spencer, and Cassidy; and six great grandchildren, Lydia, Audrey, Jacob, Gage,Avery, and Lawrence.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Vangie Rogers, and siblings, Grace Eiss, Ruth Tyner, Lloyd Rogers, Herbert Rogers, and Stephen Seamans.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday October 28 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 am at the Rose Point Reformed Presbyterian Church. Her pastor, Rev. Charles Brown will officiate the services. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
