Fombell History Day is this Sunday, September 17th 1pm-5pm and held at Lillyville Church of God located at 408 Hickernell Rd, Ellwood City, Pennsylvania 16117.
The annual event brings people together to celebrate and share their history. Many find a relative in a photo or reminisce with a neighbor about their communities. People are encouraged to bring their pictures to share.
Visitors can spend the afternoon looking at pictures of Fombell and surrounding areas and learn more about the local history. Military uniforms and weapons will be on display. Ed Boots will be dressed in a World War ll uniform and Franklin Townships 1st firetruck from 1939 will also be displayed (weather permitting).
There will be light refreshments & door prizes.
