Although mothering preschoolers is at times a lonely challenge, MOPS (Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers) is providing a welcome break for moms; a chance for moms to make new friends and an opportunity for moms to know that they are not alone in the struggles and joys of raising young children.
Every year MOPS comes up with a theme- a concept that will guide the group for the year. This year we’ll discover how to become “Free Indeed”. Do you long to be free from worry? free from feeling stuck? free from hustling to be loved? free from a heaviness you can’t put your finger on? free from thinking you should be someone other than exactly who you are? This year at MOPS we’ll choose wild, unexpected freedom; the kind of freedom that brings more laughter and less worry, more contentment and less hustle. If this is what you long for, if this is what your heart craves, if freedom is your deepest desire, come to Ellwood MOPS.
MOPS is hosted at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 615 Crescent Ave. The group is open to all moms with children from pregnancy through kindergarten. Join us for guest speakers, crafts, discussion, support, and FUN! New this fall, our meetings will be held on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month from 6-7:30PM. Childcare is provided for those who need through our MOPS Kids program.
