Clinton “Peanuts” Marshall, 91 died at his residence on Friday, August 4, 2017.
Born January 4, 1926, in Harmony “Shingle Hollow,” to the late Joseph and Elsie Myers Marshall. He was married for 52 years to Jean Brenneman Marshall who passed away February 4, 1999.
Peanuts worked as an inspector at B&W from 1948 until his retirement in 1981. He was an active member of the Calvin Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Saxon Club for many years and a former member of the Keenagers. Peanuts drove the church bus and also delivered Meals on Wheels for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and going to the casinos.
He is survived by a son Larry Marshall of Florida; two daughters, Carol (Jim) Crudden of New Brighton, and Kathy Lee of Fombell; two sisters, Gladys Stich Faull of Ellwood, and Annabelle Young of Alliquippa; step grandchildren, Mike (Bryanne) and Jennifer Crudden; and a step great grandchild Rosalie Crudden.
In addition to his wife Jean, he was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Harry and Irvin George Marshall; three sisters, Mary Embaugh, Dorothy Hall, and Marjorie Knauff; and a grandson, Jonathan Lee.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday August 8 from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 am at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave., Ellwood City. Rev. Nathan Louden will officiate. Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
