I was assigned to Beaver County as a Fish Warden in December 1967 and I voluntarily transferred to McKean County in April 1978. I remember ” The Connie ” as a beautiful stream which was under fished although it had an excellent population of smallmouth bass. During my tenure, littering was minimal. Now, after thirty-nine years, it’s out of control. When I graduated from the training academy fifty years ago, I thought only five percent of the public littered. After a twenty-eight career it appears to be more like ninety-five percent!
