Since the Ellwood City Veterans’ Memorial Pool is a hot-spot for activity during the summer months, The Beaver County YMCA will be hosting classes, lessons, and events throughout the summer season.
“This is a prime opportunity for community members, especially those with children, to partake in social and beneficial activities while still having loads of fun,” a YMCA team member said.
While some of the events are free of charge, others require a membership. All activities require a pool pass, more info on the flyer below.
The YMCA has been promoting health and community development across the nation for over 150 years – and they plan on keeping the tradition going.
“We know that lasting personal and social change comes about when we all work together. That’s why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive,” their official website states.
A YMCA swimming instructor will be available during the time of the events.
