The Ellwood City Area Public Library is hosting its second annual “Celebration of the Arts” event in July, with this year’s theme centering around local artists and their work. A variety of mediums will be featured, including painting and drawing, wood work, fabric art and more.
“Art on the Avenue,” sponsored by the Library Anniversary Committee, will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 28th, and will be very similar in nature to the “Author Fair” held last year. Participating artists will be given dedicated space in the library to talk with guests and, if they so desire, to offer their art for sale. Tickets for the event, which will also feature food and drink, will be available in advance and at the door at a cost of $10 each.
The Anniversary Committee is asking any artists from the Ellwood City, Riverside, Wampum and Koppel area who may be interested in participating to call the library for more information.
