On Thursday, May 25, 2017 the Mayor’s Advisory Committee met in Mayor Courts Office.
Discussion included the parking ticket issue on Wampum Avenue, complaints voiced concerning a large black dog around Crestview and Skyline Drive.
Mayor Court is urging people to trim their hedges when they get too high so that they do not obstruct traffic.
The fight against drugs continues with 393 arrests since Mayor Court took office.
The Mayor’s Beautification Award program has begun with one Award being presented already. The Mayor wants everyone to know that they can nominate anyone if they wish to do so.
On June 10, 2017 Relay for Life will carry out their activities in the down-town area.
On June 29, 2017 there will be a public safety meeting in New Castle, more information will be announced.
On July 12, 2017 there will be a “Clean up the Park” day with a cookout to follow.
On July 27, 2017 the Advisory Committee will meet for breakfast, compliments of the Mayor.
