It was a great honor for Mayor court to swear in one of the newest Ellwood City Patrolman, Matthew Morabito.
On the 15 of March, Patrolman Morabito began his first day as and Ellwood City Police Officer.
Mayor court and the ECPD wish him great success going forward in his new career.
Mayor Court Announces April 9 as Tamburitzan Day in Ellwood City
On March 20, 2017, a new dimension was added to the Rotary Scholarship Fund benefit concert by the Tamburitzans of Pittsburgh, PA when Mayor Anthony Court deliver the news that concert day April 9 has been proclaimed Tamburitzan Day in Ellwood City at the Rotary Club’s weekly meeting recently.
The mayor went on to say, in part, that the proclamation is in honor of the group’s 80th anniversary; highlighting their success embracing diversity and performance as cultural ambassadors of the Pittsburgh area.
He encouraged all citizens to see the concert, as well as local member Alena Kucan in performance with this internationally famous troupe.
He thanked the Rotarians for bringing such an opportunity to the citizenry of Ellwood City as another example of what makes our town special.

On March 29, 2017, Mayor Anthony Court and Patrolman Fauzey spent an enjoyable evening at the Ellwood City Early Learning Center.
The children presented their spring Art Show. Mayor Court was very impressed at how talented these young children (ages 3-5) are.
