Mrs. Hilda Huseonica, 99, formerly of Ellport passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 in the Grove in Harmony.
Mrs. Huseonica was born on July 29, 1917 in Arden, Pa to the late Daniel and Lidia Hobart Pocza. She was a member of the Ellport Presbyterian Church, the Hungarian Women’s Club, and the Wurtemburg-Perry Volunteer Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, and flower gardening.
Hilda is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann (William) Petz of McMurray, Pa, her daughter-in-law, Dorothy Huseonica of Franklin Twp., her grandchildren, Deborah Lynn Petz, Jeffrey W. (Caroline) Petz, Diane (Greg) Lower, Randy Huseonica, and Brenda (Rick) Hawke, and her great-grandchildren, Bethany Hawke, Caleb Hawke, Emma Hawke, and Owen Huseonica.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank Huseonica whom she married on February 19, 1938 and passed away on September 15, 1987, her son, Frank D. Huseonica in 2015, and her brothers, Alex and Daniel Pocza.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-6 pm and on Thursday from 10-11 am in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services. A Service for Mrs. Huseonica will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor Charlene Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery.
