William Joseph “Joe” Ray, 60, of North Sewickley Township, (Beaver Falls), passed away peacefully and unexpectedly in his sleep at his home on Thursday morning, March 23 2017.
He was born in Ellwood City on June 6 1956 to Ethel Mullenax Ray of North Sewickley Township, and the late Delbert W. Ray.
Joe was a heavy equipment mechanic for over 30 years, at Murphy Tractor Co., formerly known as Doyle Equipment Co in Cranberry Twp.
Joe enjoyed spending time with his family, his friends, and coaching girls softball with the Riverside R.G.A.A.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Sherri Graeser-Ray.
Two daughters, Amanda Jo and Emily Sue Ray, as well as his mother, Ethel Ray, also survive.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Sunday, March 26 2017 in the TURNER FUNERAL HOME, 500 Sixth Street, Ellwood City.
Services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 27 at TURNERS.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
