Corona D’Italia Lodge #807 February Meeting

Corona D’Italia Lodge #807 held their monthly meeting on February 8, at 5p.m. at Pizza Joe’s with a Valentine Party festivity.

The lodge hosted the pizza luncheon that was served by officers, Lois DiFrischia, Pudue LaCava, and members, Jackie Perno, Mary Jane Folino and Christine Butchelli. Trustee, Patty Regna, voiced a prayerful invocation, honoring all families.

President, Clemmy Sirimarco conducted the business session that followed. Treasurer, Loise Vitullo, presented the financial reports. She reminded members that dues for the year 2017 should be paid by March 31 by contacting Sirimarco. Member, Lee Ann Houk led a discussion on the college scholarships applications that have been placed in the schools. Orator, Valerie Valentino, chairman of the scholarship committee presented her report. Vice President, Ann Butchelli, gave an update on her 100th anniversary projects with a suggested December dinner date. Emcee, Mary Quintanella, photographed all in attendance extending Valentine wishes to all. She called on Valentino to begin the Valentine party. A valentine gift exchange was held with all participating and enjoying their gifts. Valentino presented her favors of Valentine goodie bags to each person. She then conducted a social aided by Quintanella.

Sirimarco concluded the session advising all members of the next meeting date of Wednesday, March 8 at 5p.m. at Pizza Joe’s. St. Patrick’s Day will be observed with Irish Stew. It is requested that reservations be made by calling Louise Vitullo no later than March 1.
