The United Fund is closing its 2017 campaign officially on Jan. 31, which started on October 1, 2016, coming up over $9,358 short of its goal of $50,000.
The money raised is distributed to the agencies that service the needs of the area and community.
The United Fund released its final disbursement for the year 2016 to all agencies. It was hoped that the disbursement will carry the agencies through the winter months.
Ellwood City is fortunate that the United Fund Agencies have the support of the community that allows them to take action and help to provide relief to those in need.
The Ellwood City United Fund wants to thank everyone who has generously provided funds to the annual 2017 campaign.
