As you may already know, T&M Hardware on Fountain Ave., in Ellwood recently celebrated their 25th anniversary, and now they’re up to something else – expanding their parking area – something that the company has longed to do for almost 20 years.
After purchasing three houses next to the store property they are finally able to expand their lot, which was something that customers suggested they do to make parking more efficient.
“We listen to what our customers want the most, they’ve been so good to us and we want to do the same for them; they told us they wanted better parking and that’s exactly what were doing,” Tim Post, the owner of T&M Hardware said.
Not only does the company plan on using the area strictly for parking, they also expect to use the extra space for displays, rental equipment, and perhaps even store events in the summer.
The houses have since been demolished and the construction is underway, Tim says what he considers “Phase 1” of the construction is complete.
Along with the parking expansion, the Post’s have plans on expanding the store and things that they offer starting in 2017.
There is no exact date on the opening of the parking area, but the Post’s remain confident that it won’t be long.

As more rural kings move into our area these smaller hardware stores will be eliminated rather quickly. Rural King is the new Trader Horn on steroids!
