Student Brings BB Gun to School
A Lincoln High School student was charged with possession of a weapon on school property following an incident on Jan. 6 2016. A 14-year old male had displayed a semi-automatic BB pistol, which mimics the appearance of an actual handgun, in the main gym.
Inmetco and Parent Company File for Bankruptcy
Horsehead Holding Corp. and its affiliated companies, including Ellwood City-based Inmetco, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Tuesday, Feb. 2. According to published sources, Horsehead missed a $1.9 million payment and saw its stock drop more than 90 percent.
