A smell of alcohol was emitting from his body and when he was searched officers uncovered a marijuana grinder and rolling papers. LaCava will be facing charges of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
Why wasn’t Claypool arrested being he had an active bench warrant against him? Wouldn’t it make more sense to retain him, than to advisie him to turn himself in? Maybe it was too much trouble for Ellwood’s finest to do paperwork. With the money they make they should have delivered him to Mercer County!
They did, but no one from Mercer PD could come get him so they had to release him.
