Mrs. Cherlyn L. McNutt, 56, of Ellport passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016 in the Cleveland Clinic.
Cherlyn was born on December 4, 1960 in Ellwood City to William J. and Catherine Hall Miller of Ellport. She had graduated from Riverside High School with the class of 1979, and had earned a Technical Degree in Mechanical Drawing. Cherlyn had worked for Dear John, Lutz & Myers Inc., Duquesne Light, and Peoples Gas as a drafter. Most recently she, along with her husband Bob, was the co-owner and operator of B&B, B&B Express, and Ellport Junction. She was also an active member of the Wurtemburg United Methodist Church. Cherlyn enjoyed being outdoors, quad riding, hiking, and the company of her dogs Conway and Jetta.
She is survived by her parents, her husband Robert J. McNutt whom she married on November 27, 1986, her two sons, Cole and Reid McNutt, her sister, Janine (Jim) Graham of Hamilton, OH, her brother, Robin (Patricia Power) Miller of Jefferson, MD, her special nieces Erin Knox and Leslie Shute of whom she was very close with, her sister-in-law, Karen (Mark) Dover of Shenango Twp., and several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and on Friday from 10-11 am in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services. Services for Cherlyn will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Chad Bogdewic officiating. Interment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Cherlyn’s name may be made to the Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) American Liver Foundation.
