Thousands of Dollars Worth of Opiate Medications Stolen

According to the police report, on Dec. 5, a man came to the police station to report that his medication had been stolen from of the passenger seat of his car while he was inside Rite Aid getting an energy drink and cigarettes.

The man claimed he was no longer than 10 minuets in the store and he had four newly filled prescriptions laying on the front seat.

The stolen medication was two scripts of Oxymorphone, 20mg tablets with each bottle holding 60 pills, street value at $20 per pill, and the second medication stolen was two scripts of Oxycodone, 10mg tablets with each bottle holding 120 pills, street value at $10 per pill.

The street value of all the medication combined is $4,800.

The case is under further investigation.

 

DUI

According to the police report on Dec. 6, at approximately 1a.m. officers observed a green Ford Mustang driving erratically west on Portersville Road.

The vehicle aggressively accelerated, burning tires for distance of almost 100 yards, and the vehicle went sideways several times.

Officers conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle, whose resgistration was expires and suspended due to insurance cancellation. The owner of the vehicle was a friend of the driver Jesse Vale, who had a suspended license due to a previous DUI incident.

The officer noticed a strong smell of alcohol emitting from the drivers breath and requested the driver perform sobriety tests, which he failed and was sent to the hospital for blood testing.

The vehicle was towed and Vale is facing DUI charges.
