Marshela A. Heitzer, 68, of Ellport, (Ellwood City) passed away peacefully on Sunday December 4 2016 at noon at her residence.
She was born in Butler PA on March 23 1948 to the late Paul Horst and the late Gladys Learn Horst.
Marshela graduated from Slippery Rock High School, and worked at Park Pharmacy, and later Newmans Pharmacy, and Uni-Mart, and Busy Beaver in Ellwood City, and later was a manager at Family Dollar in Franklin Township.
She was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish in Ellwood City. She enjoyed crocheting.
Marshela was dedicated to her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, William C. Heitzer, Sr. and by two sons and one daughter, and their spouses: Michael J. (and April) Heitzer of Ripley TN; William C. (and Suzanne) Heitzer Jr. of Butler; and Marrianne (and James) Bleakney of Ellwood City.
Eight grandchildren survive: Emily, Elizabeth, Joshua, Billy, Kaitlyn, Devon, Greg, and Luke; as well as some step grandchildren.
One sister, Robin of Butler PA, also survives.
At her request, no visitation is planned, and memorial services will be private.
