Corona D’Italia Lodge #807 resumed their monthly meetings on Wednesday, September 14 at 5p.m. at Pizza Joe’s.
The session began with a pizza luncheon hosted by the Lodge and served by Sentinel Lois Di Frischia, Trustee Patty Regna, and Member Mary Jane Folino. Treasurer Louise Vitullo was honored for her September birthday. Orator Valerie Valentino provided fall table and place mat decorations and presented candy flavors to each member in attendance. Regna voiced the invocation before the serving.
President Clemmy Sirimarco presided over the business meeting that followed. Vitullo presented the financial reports and requested any updated for beneficiary changed needed. Sirimarco provided a letter from the Pennsylvania Grand Lodge regarding donations for the victims of the recent earthquake in central Italy. The Lodge will participate in this effort through the monthly fund raiser activity. Ann Butchelli, the vice president, will provide a preview of her project for the lodge’s 100th anniversary at the next month meeting. Mary Quintanilla reported on her pictures for the Lodge album of the monthly meetings. Sirimarch distributed tickets for the September fund raiser and noted that she may be contacted by for participation.
Planning for the annual Columbus day celebration it was decided to have a sit down dinner on Wednesday October 5, at 5p.m. at the Wolverine Restaurant. Reservations are required and all dues must be paid and up to date. Contact Treasurer Vitullo no later than Wednesday, September 25, for the dinner reservations. A social conducted by DiFrischia, Qintanilla, and Regna concluded the session.
