On Saturday, September 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds you can take appliances, batteries, fluorescent lights, shoes, and tires to be recycled. Household hazardous waste and electronics can also be recycled but registration for these items is required.
