State House candidate Aaron Bernstine will hold an open-house at his new campaign headquarters in Ellwood City Wednesday, June 15, inviting the general public.
The building, at the corner of Lawrence and Fifth in Ellwood City, is the location of a former sports-related business.
“My primary focus is to get the economy moving again in this area. So far, we now have one less empty storefront,” Bernstine stated. “For far too long, we have not capitalized on the opportunity to bring businesses to our region and create jobs. My job in Harrisburg will be to make sure it becomes harder to find empty space in any business district in the 10th House District.”
Bernstine said the event will run from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, with light refreshments.
“I am proud to have opened an office in one our important downtown areas in the district. When you move into a neighborhood, it’s a great idea to have folks over to get to know you,” Bernstine said.
This is going to be a tight race.
And although the local economy is obviously a top priority for any state politician…..the number one issue is supporting Article V – Convention of States.
The federal government is out of control and will never reign in itself. The states combined are far more powerful than the federal government, so it is time state politicians do their duty and de-centralize Washington DC.
