The Ellwood City Amateur Baseball Federation celebrated opening day of the summer baseball season on Saturday with a parade and festivities in Ewing Park.
Events included a home run derby, dunk tank, carnival games, inflatables, prizes and trophies, a 50/50 raffles, a Chinese auction, and more. There was also a Pitch, Hit & Run event for boys and girls ages 7 to 14 beginning at 4 p..m. in Sanders Field.
