Marie Pander, 91, formerly of Lundy Lane, Ellwood City passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Hospice following an extended illness.
Born August 8, 1924 in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Alphonso and Margaret DeRose D’Amore. Marie was married to George O. Pander who passed away November 9, 2006.
Marie was a member of Holy Redeemer Church. She was active with the Women of the Moose and was an officer in the Gotta-Gittaway-Campers club.
Survivors include a sister, Agnes D’Ambrosia of California and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Louis and Patrick D’Amore and two sisters, Theressa Felix and Sophia Polizzi
Visiting hours will be held on Monday April 25 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.
Following visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Redeemer Church at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
