The Ellwood City boys tennis team lost a home match against Quaker Valley 0-5 on Friday.
The doubles teams of Zain Ansari/Alex Scott and Christian Covert/Alex Vardzel played competitive rounds against the Quaker teams but ultimately lost.
The singles matches by Christian Mittica, Trey Houk and Patric, Pawlak also came up short.
The tennis team travels to Beaver Falls on Thursday.
