Pudue La Cava hosted the 1954 Lincoln Class “Life is a Beach” Committee at her Mt. Vernon Drive home at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 17.
The session began with a luncheon observing St. Patrick’s Day, provided by La Cava, Pinky Maielli, Ann Amadio, Ilene Gardner, James Spielvogel, Jan Keenan, James Gillespie and Clemmy Sirimarco. Gardner provided her cake in honor of LaCava’s birthday, and they served the group.
Co-Chairman Spielvogel conducted the business session that followed. Gillespie reported on the fundraising activity and tickets were distributed for March. Sirimarco gave a financial report updating to current as no meeting was held in February. LaCava reported on reservations received to date, noting it was 40 percent of last year’s participants. Gardner presented correspondences received and reported on mailings that she has made. Amadio reviewed reservation lists with additions made. Keenan will provide photography at the event. Maielli reported on the menu planning and presentation. She and Gardner provided information and samples of the planned decor.
A general discussion ended the session and set the next meeting date for Thursday, April 14, 4 p.m. at the La Cava residence.
