Elizabeth A. “Beth” Boots, 56, of Stiefel Ave., Ellwood City (formerly of Tampa, FLorida) passed away unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 at her residence.
Born Sept. 9, 1959 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of David P. and Lois V. West Peeples of Fombell.
She was married to Barry R. Boots for 38 years when he passed away April 7, 2014.
Beth attended Riverside High School and graduated as a Registered Nurse from Jameson School of Nursing. She was currently employed as a Visiting Nurse for Vitas Hospice in Cranberry. She formerly worked at Heritage Valley – Beaver Hospital, and at a heart clinic in Tampa. She enjoyed working with the elderly. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Zelienople. Beth enjoyed family, gardening and NASCAR. She lived life to the fullest.
In addition to her parents, David and Lois Peeples, survivors include a daughter, Sandy L Boots of Fort Myers, Florida; sister, Virginia Peeples of San Raphael, Calif.; two brothers, Mark D. (Robin) Peeples of Albany, Ga., Jeffrey C. Peeples of Dameron, Md.; father in law, Harry Boots of Ellwood City; grandson, Zachary D. Griffith of Ellwood City; granddaughter, Hayleigh E. Robinson of Saltsburg, Pa.;
She was preceded in death by her husband and mother in law, Ruth Ann Boots.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Jan. 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.
Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Lillyville Church of God Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice 2009 MacKenzie Way # 110, Cranberry Township PA 16066.
