Library Activities Week of December 21st

Activities taking place at the Ellwood City Area Public Library include the following:

Tuesday, Dec. 22, at 3:30 p.m. – Creative Writing Workshop for students in 9th grade and up. The group meets twice each month to share their work and discuss writing tips and techniques. New members are always welcome, so call the library now for more information.

The library will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (Dec. 24 and 25) and will resume normal hours on Saturday, December 26.

In addition, the library will be open from 9 a.m. to Noon on New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31) and remain closed on New Year’s Day (Jan. 1). Normal hours will resume on Saturday, Jan. 2.

A schedule of activities for the new year will be in place very soon, so call the library after the first of the year for more information.

The library hosts book discussion groups for adults as well as for students in 6th grade through seniors in high school and for those in their “twenties.” Call the library for more information on all of the groups.
