Laura E. Neupauer, 73, of Ellwood City, passed away on Sunday evening, Nov. 22, 2015, in the Ellwood City Hospital.
She was born in Philadelphia on July 23, 1942, to the late Alfred E. Crowther, who died June 18, 1992, and the late Laura Davis Crowther, who died Dec. 14, 2006.
Laura mainly enjoyed all her pets.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. Neupauer, on Oct. 8, 2013.
Laura is survived by one son and two daughters: Jon Neupauer (and fiancée Karen Norris) of Ellwood City; Julia (and Dale) Taylor-Davis of New Castle, and Stacey Barile of Ellwood City, and by five grandchildren: Jessica Hoffmeier and Justin Neupauer of Ellwood City, Travis Neupauer of North Carolina, and Joshua and Zachary Taylor of New Castle, and two great-grandchildren, Hanna and Kaylea Neupauer of Ellwood City. She is also survived by one brother and three sisters: Alfred G. (and Joanne) Crowther of Ellwood City; Alfreda Mackey in California; Marlene Cook and Janice Crowther, of New Castle.
Per her wishes, visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday and services at Turner Funeral Home, conducted by Pastor Peggy Suhr-Barkley of Trinity Lutheran Church, at 11 a.m. Wednesday are just for family members.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Turner Funeral Home of Ellwood City, Sixth Street at Park Avenue. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, North Sewickley Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in Laura’s name, to the donor’s favorite charity.
