Activities taking place at the Ellwood City Area Public Library include the following:
Tuesday, October 27, at 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. — — Family Laptime, an interactive program designed for babies as young as 6 months old through preschool age. Featured are stories, songs, finger plays and more. Registration is requested, so call the library now for more information.
Wednesday, October 28, at 6:00 p.m. – Movie Nights for Adults,” a continuing program which is free and open to all area adults. Featured are new-to-DVD films and refreshments. Call the library for more information or to discover the title of the movie to be shown. Another movie is planned for Wednesday, November 18. There will be no movie in December, but the program will continue into the new year.
Thursday, October 29, at 10:00 a.m. — Preschool Story Time, which is designed for preschoolers who are at least 3 years old. Featured are stories, songs, finger plays and more. This program will continue through November 19. Registration is requested, so call the library for more information.
Thursday, October 29, at 6:00 p.m. – Adult Knitting Group. The group meets year-around with members working on individual projects and providing their own materials. New members are always welcome. Call the library for more information.
The library will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, in observance of the Veterans’ Day holiday. Normal hours will resume on Thursday, November 12.
