Gloria A (Burick) Houk, 81, of Howard St., Chewton passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver following a short illness. A lifelong resident of Chewton, she was born April 8, 1936 the daughter of the late Frank and Jesse Rocco Burick. She was married for 60 years to James E. Houk Jr. as they were married October 13, 1956. He survives. Gloria graduated from Lincoln High School. Margaret R. (Watson) Gioffre, of Koppel, died at home on July 1, 2017. Margaret’s husband, Lou Gioffre, died in 2002. They were happily married for 56 years. Margaret had a real zest for life, and she lived it to the fullest. She valued her family above everything and enjoyed springtime, sitting on her back porch, challenging her brain with crossword puzzles, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.
