Frances J. Campbell, 94, formerly of Hogue Rd. passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the Carriage Manor in New Castle. Born July of 1923 in Tug Hill, New York, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Myrtle Hopseker Rogers. Frances was married to Ernest Raymond Campbell who passed away March 2, 1995. Mrs. Campbell was an Elementary School Teacher for 24 years in the Laurel School District. She was a member of the Rose Point Reformed Presbyterian Church. Frances was an avid reader. Mervin L. Wilson, 85, formerly of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Princeton Village in Largo, Florida following an extended illness. Born April 19, 1932 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Loyal and Thelma (Hogue) Wilson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sally Wilson Winter. Nickolas Palagallo, 90, of New Beaver Boro passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 at the Butler Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Born November 8, 1926 in Wampum, he was the son of the late Anthony and Mary Colao Palagallo. He was married for 65 years to his beloved wife, Phyllis Leopardo Palagallo who survives.
