Frances J. Campbell, 94, formerly of Hogue Rd. passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the Carriage Manor in New Castle. Born July of 1923 in Tug Hill, New York, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Myrtle Hopseker Rogers. Frances was married to Ernest Raymond Campbell who passed away March 2, 1995. Mrs. Campbell was an Elementary School Teacher for 24 years in the Laurel School District. She was a member of the Rose Point Reformed Presbyterian Church. Frances was an avid reader. Nickolas Palagallo, 90, of New Beaver Boro passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 at the Butler Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Born November 8, 1926 in Wampum, he was the son of the late Anthony and Mary Colao Palagallo. He was married for 65 years to his beloved wife, Phyllis Leopardo Palagallo who survives. Nick retired in 1988 after working for 42 years at Medusa Cement Company. He served in the Navy during WWII and was a member of the Wampum American Legion Post 749. Nick’s passion was baseball. Born January 18, 1927 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Warren and Violet Woods Warren Hutchinson. She was married to Stephen G. Soltes who passed away April 16, 1999. Edie worked at Standard Steel Specialty Shop in Beaver Falls. Born December 5, 1961 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Edna Jean Krepps Kozol. Kim graduated from St. Anthony’s School in Oakmont.
