Girls and Boys Soccer in the WPIAL PLAYOFFS

Both the Riverside Girls and Boys Soccer Teams qualified for the WPIAL Playoffs. The boys will play first as they play this Saturday, October 21 at 3PM at North Allegheny High School as they take on Freeport High School.  The bus will leave from the high school K- Center parking lot at 1 PM. The girls will open up play on Monday, October 23 at 6PM at Moon high School as they will play South Side High School.  The bus will leave at 4PM from the high school K- Center Parking lot Congrats to both teams on making the playoffs…


Riverside Sophomores Advance to Golf PIAA Finals

Riverside Sophomores, Skylar Fox and Justin Hand advanced to the PIAA Individual Golf Finals next week in Hershey. Both will compete in the state finals based on their performance in the western finals.  


Riverside Haunted Hayride Starts Tonight

The Riverside annual Haunted Hayride, sponsored by Riverside Outdoor Athletic Renovation (ROAR) starts tonight from 7-9p.m. The Haunted Hayride is one of several fundraisers conducted by ROAR throughout the year. Nearly 200 volunteers come together to create a fun event for the community, and over 1100 people enjoyed the experience. This year, Roar has had the assistance of a Riverside alumni, John Guerrini. Riverside Golf Advances in WPIALs

The Riverside Golf Team advanced to the WPIAL Team Finals! The team will play in the WPIAL Team Finals on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 9a.m. at Cedarbrook Golf Course. Great job and good luck Panthers!


Riverside Golf Team to Compete in WPIALs

The Riverside Golf Team qualified for the WPIAL team playoffs and will be competing tomorrow, Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Indian Run Golf Course in Avella, PA., at 9:00 a.m. The team will leave at 6a.m. from the high school parking lot. REMINDER: Wing Bash Benefit Scheduled Saturday

A wing bash is being held at the Sons of Italy this weekend to benefit Anthony Tollari III, to pay for some expenses after an incident that left him paralyzed. In July, Tollari had a diving accident in his swimming pool which shattered his C5 vertebrae. He has had surgery and is currently undergoing rehabilitation at the hospital. He recently got his neck brace taken off and is continuing to making slow progress. The benefit has been organized to help his family with expenses related to getting Anthony home. Riverside and Lincoln Football Tickets for Sale

Student tickets for Riverside High School’s home game Friday will only be available from 7:15 a.m. to 8 a.m. daily this week at the district athletic office. No sales will occur during lunch. Student tickets are $2, but are not available at the gate before the game. Tickets at the gate are $5. Ellwood City vs. Hopewell tickets are being pre-sold at the high school, no student tickets will be sold at the gate. Student tickets are $3 and adults are $5.  


Anthony Tollari III’s Benefit

Anthony Tollari III’s Benefit will be September 23rd at the SOI Club, Ellwood City, PA. A Wing Fest it will be from 7:00 – 11:00 pm. The benefit will host wings, food, and fun along with a Chinese Auction. More details to follow. The next meeting will be Thursday, August 10th at 7p.m., Eat-n-Park, Chippawa, PA. Fundraising for Local High School Student in Pool Accident

Anthony Tollari is a high school student at Riverside who was in a pool-related accident nearly two weeks ago that has left him partially paralyzed. “After a Colt League Championship baseball defeat, Anthony was at his home, and dove into his pool. He landed extremely awkward, and broke his neck. He was rushed to the hospital, and had to have emergency surgery to save his life. Anthony is now in a facility for at least two months to attempt to regain his feeling and mobility,” his GoFundMe page states.
