DUI/CRASH/EVADING POLICE: Isiah Carr, 28, of Ellwood City, is facing 17 charges after a vehicle crash into trailer, home during police chase on October 14th. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 11:05 p.m., police were dispatched to a residence on Guy Way, Wayne Township for a welfare check. CHILD SEXUAL EXPLOITATION LAW VIOLATION: A former resident of Ellwood City has been sentenced in federal court to a total term of 180 months’ imprisonment followed by 8 years’ supervised release on his conviction of attempted production and production of material depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor, United States Attorney Eric G. DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Timothy Myers, 41, of Ellwood City, is charged with Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Trespassing after an incident on August 26th. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 10:13 p.m., officers were dispatched to a residence on Young Road in Slippery Rock Township for a report of a burglary in process as a unidentified male attempted to enter the residence through the window and front door. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Domenico Logalbo, 73, of New Castle, is charged with Criminal Mischief after police witnessed Logalbo through surveillance cameras using spray paint to paint property lines on the property of the Borough of Ellwood City on August 19th. According to a criminal complaint, Logalbo has complained multiple times that the borough property is his and that lawyers had advised him that it is not his property. Logalbo was found to be spray painting lines, arrows, and lettering on the borough property and officers confronted Logalbo and advised he will be charged for defacing public property. CRIMINAL TRESPASSING: On August 26th at approximately 10:15 p.m., PA State Police were dispatched to Young Road, Slippery Rock Township, for a burglary in progress. According to the report, it was determined that after dropping someone off at the residence, Timothy Myers, 42, attempted to enter the residence through multiple doors and windows. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 9:03 a.m. police received a call from a victim in regards to credit card theft and who related her debit card was stolen from her husbands vehicle while he was at work. The complaint relates one of the victim’s son’s friends stole the card and used it to make several purchases at different locations for a total of $110.00. HARASSMENT: On June 16th at approximately 4:23 p.m., PA State Police New Castle investigated a report of harassment via electronic device. A 62-year-old male victim who resides on Ellwood Road, Wayne Township reported to have received threatening text messages from a known individual. According to the report, the message were sent for no legitimate purpose, and caused alarm to the victim and his family. A 35-year-old male from Edinburg, PA is listed as an arrestte in the public information report. The investigation is ongoing.
