The details of the Renew and Revive Art Show taking place at Dayspring Gifts on 6th Street in Ellwood City have been finalized. The art show will consist of a variety of art from four local area artists, including local legend Woodrow Cowher, fantasy photographer and designer Cassandra Douglas, diverse painter Kate Hiser, and multi-skilled artist and designer Katie Keally. PHOTOS: Lady Wolverines Open Section Play with 15-0 Victory Over Riverside

   In the section opener for Ellwood City, the Wolverine bats heated up just like the weather. The offense banged out 13 hits in just 3 innings of work as the game was halted by the mercy rule. Ariana Garroway and Zoe Kalantzis both hit shots that left the yard. Garroway finished the day 3-3 with a 3 run blast, scored twice and totaled 4 rbi’s. Hidden Gem Photography Grand Opening

Rebecca Dembach is the visionary behind Hidden Gem Photography, located at 314 5th Street in Ellwood. Though she has been doing professional photography for years, she just recently decided to open up her own photography studio. Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Ganon University in 2014.
