Two local residents, Scott and Caroline Golmic, have a vision for the old Blocher Jewelers building, located at 507 Lawrence Ave – to turn it into an ice cream parlor. New Dimension Comics Comes to Ohio Valley Mall Jan. 16, 2016

Pennsylvania comic book chain New Dimension Comics is expanding into Ohio. Fresh Take Foods Shares Owner’s Love of Food and Community

Michael Dillow finds food brings out great conversation and brings people together. He’s been working in the food service industry his entire adult life and has recently opened Fresh Take Foods, located on 810 Second St. The take-out restaurant opened April 2, although it will celebrate a grand opening April 15. Ellwood City Vapors Offers Alternative to Smoking

Ellwood City now has its own electronic cigarettes store. Ellwood City Vapors, located on 505 Lawrence Ave., had its grand opening last Saturday. The grand opening, sponsored by the Ellwood City Chamber of Commerce, featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, cookies, and coffee.
