First Annual Shoaf’s Spaghetti Supper To Be Held

The first annual Shoaf’s Spaghetti Supper will be held on February 24, 2024 at Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church (291 Wurtemburg Road, Ellwood City PA 16117) from 5:00pm to 7:30pm in memory of our dear friend, Marc Shoaf. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children under 10 years old, and free for children under 2 years. The dinner includes a pasta dinner, salad, roll, dessert, coffee, pop, water and one door prize ticket. Only 200 dinner tickets will be sold. Take out will be an option should seating be limited. Vietnam Veterans Moving Wall Coming To Ewing Park

The Ellwood City American Legion Post 157 is hosting the Vietnam Moving Wall in Ewing Park on August 18th through August 22nd. The event is free to the public. The Moving Wall will be located in the same area of Ewing Park as the Festival. Specifically it will be to the right of the Folino Shelter (the stage) running a total of 253 feet in a v-shape and parallel to Washington Ave. Parking is available in the swimming pool parking lot. Memorial Cornhole Tournament to Honor Elek Brown

The Elek Brown Memorial Cornhole Tournament will be held Sunday, November 8 in celebration of his life and to raise money for his family. Elek was a 5-year-old boy who loved numbers, Mario, painting, Legos, and cooking. His life was cut short on Saturday, October 17, 2020, when he unexpectedly died of cardiac arrest at his Franklin Township residence. He was a student at North Sewickley Church Pre-School and was loved and cherished by his parents James A. and Shannon Kay Higgins Brown.
