Kitchen Cabinet Planning Kids Created Kingdom Clean Up

With the annual Ellwood City Easter Egg Hunt event scheduled on Saturday, the Ellwood City Kitchen Cabinet is planning and organizing a clean up at the Kids Created Kingdom in Ewing Park on Tuesday, April 5th. According to its social media page, the non-profit plans to rake up the leaves inside and along the fence outside of the large kids playground feature. The clean up is planned for 6:00 p.m. Two years ago the clean up was done within two hours because of extra volunteer help. The Kitchen Cabinet is asking for volunteers again this year. Kids Created Kingdom 20th Anniversary Celebration

Twenty years ago, it took 5 days for an empty space in Ewing Park to become a 15,000 square foot playground. Within those 20 years, the playground has undergone many changes and become a cornerstone of Ewing Park. Most recently and earlier this summer, the Kids Created Kingdom added a wheelchair accessible swing to the list of features in the playground for use. Ellwood City Kitchen Cabinet Event Thursday June 21

Ellwood City Kitchen Cabinet is hosting a very casual event on Thursday night at 6:30 in the Municipal Building. The purpose of the meeting is to share ideas of any interested group or person on what people can do to help Ellwood City grow and prosper. The meeting will be a baseline for those interested in helping Ellwood move forward by sharing their ideas and how they might be implemented.
