Holy Redeemer Holds Annual Memorial Mass & Tribute

On Sunday November 12th the Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church’s Holy Name Society and Knights of Columbus Sacred Heart Council 11389 conducted its annual memorial Mass and commemorative tribute to their recently deceased members at Holy Redeemer Church in Ellwood City. Following Mass, breakfast, including a memorial program, was held in the Catholic Center honoring their lives. Special Activities Group of the Holy Redeemer Church Celebrates 60th Anniversary

On Sunday, October 22, 2023, members of the Special Activities Group of the Holy Redeemer Church met to celebrate their 60th Anniversary. Fifty four members and their guests were present and enjoyed a meal of chicken marsala, beef tips, meatballs and pasta. John Biondi presented a history of the Special Activities Group (fondly called SAG). The Group was created in 1963 by parishioners who wanted to assist in funding non-budgeted items the school and church would need during a year. Holy Name Society Hosts Picnic & New Member Drive

ELLPORT – At their annual family picnic on August 16th at the Robert E. Rogers Memorial Park’s main shelter in Ellport, the Holy Name Society members and guests, gathered to celebrate friendship, fellowship and to welcome new members to the Society. Holy Redeemer Golf Bash Cancelled

According to a Facebook post made by the Ellwood City Wolves and Holy Redeemer, the Golf Bash that was originally scheduled to take place on January 16th has now been cancelled. After receiving a letter from Bishop David Zubick on the amount of rising COVID-19 cases in the area, the decision was made to cancel this in person event. Holy Redeemer’s Cash & Golf Bash Less Than Two Weeks Away

Less than two weeks are left until Holy Redeemer’s Golf Bash takes place on Sunday, January 16th. The Cash & Golf Bash will be hosted at the Catholic Center located at 311 Lawrence Avenue, Ellwood City. Riverside Lions Club Continues Their Community Outreach With A Variety of Programs

The Riverside Lions Club is continuing their community outreach through a variety of programs. Once again, the club had the opportunity of being able to distribute thousands of school supplies to six different schools in the area. Holy Redeemer Social Club Planning Annual Casino Trip

The Holy Redeemer Social Club is planning its annual trip to Seneca Niagara next month. The trip is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 10, 2021. The cost is $40.00 to join the casino trip.  The fee includes $25.00 in free play at the casino. “We have a few seats left,” says event organizer, John Pansera. Ellwood City Wolves Present Donation

Chris Cioffi presented for the EC Wolves Club to Jackie Dimeo, President of the Holy Redeemer Christian Mother’s. A Presentation of $500.00 from funds raised during a recent Golf Bash fundraiser was made during the Wolves Club MTG on June 23rd in Ewing Park. Holy Redeemer “Pizza Greens” Sale

The Holy Redeemer Social Club will be holding a “Pizza Greens” sale Saturday, July 11. These Pizza Greens are actually spinach rolls and will be sold from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the Holy Redeemer lunch room for $4 each.
