New Castle Playhouse Presents Moon Over Buffalo

PHOTOS: Winter Wine and Brew Fest

For the second year and with a lot of great food, drinks and entertainment, the Ellwood City Winter Wine and Brew Fest was enjoyed by many this weekend. The proceeds will benefit the Ellwood City Revitalization in their quest to raise $90,000 to create 18-foot high triangular arches upon which lights will hang to provide a longer season for acts performing at the five-year-old, $2.2 million Ellwood City Community Plaza. Portersville Christian School will hold an Information Night/Open House at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 27, for families interested in enrolling students for the 2018-2019 school year. Girls Can Learn STEM, Robot-Building and Programming in Free BC3 Events

Butler, PA – Girls in grades 7 to 9 can hone their understanding of science, technology, engineering and mathematics by building and programming the latest LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robots in two free programs debuting at Butler County Community College. A rare lunar event will be happening on January 31, something that hasn’t occurred since the 1800’s – a super blue blood moon. The event will combine 3 phenomena at the same time, a blue moon, a supermoon, and a total lunar eclipse, which will be most visible in the Eastern hemisphere.
