Windy Ridge Dairy to Host 6th Annual Milk Fest

Windy Ridge Dairy Farm is hosting their 6th annual Milk Fest on June 3. Sweet Caroline’s to Officially Open Tomorrow

Sweet Caroline’s is finally bringing ice cream back to Lawrence Avenue! The shops official opening is tomorrow, May 19. They will be opening their doors to the public starting at 2p.m. and staying open until 9p.m. according to their event page on Facebook. Pine Valley Motorcycle Ride

Join Pine Valley Camp for their Motorcycle Ride Event this Saturday at 504 Chapel Drive, Ellwood City. This is the 4th year that Pine Valley is hosting this motorcycle ride. The Ellwood City Amateur Baseball Federation hosted their annual opening day ceremony Saturday at Friedhoff Field – an event which the organizations Vice President, Michael Widmaier, said was a success. “The weather held off until the end, parents and grandparents paraded with their kids, the high school baseball players applauded the young players as they paraded onto the field, Mayor Court attended, and Nathan Scott threw the first pitch. Mountaineer Casino Bus Trip Sunday, May 7, 2017 8:30 A.M. Depart       Team Circle of Friends is going to Mountaineer in Wheeling, West Virginia to play at the casino.  The group will depart from the Ellwood City Hospital via Anderson Coach at 8:30 am and gamble until 3:00 pm, during the ride there will be fun and games.  The cost is $30.00 which includes a $20.00 slot play vouchers received upon arrival to the casino. From exotic animal encounters to a trashion-fashion show, live performances, Eco-friendly vendors, and much more – The Ellwood City Chamber of Commerce put together an Earth Day celebration to remember. While the annual event gets bigger every year, their newest addition to the celebration is the Trashion Show. With over half a dozen local competitors, the Ewing stage was filled with fashionable trash outfits crafted completely out of recyclable materials.
