Portersville, PA -Tickets are now on sale for Portersville Christian School’s Fine Arts Committee’s modern English production of Sophocles’ Antigone. The Greek tragedy, the third chronologically of Sophocles’ Theban plays, will be presented Thursday, November 9, Friday, November 10 and Saturday November 11 at 7 PM each night, at the school, 343 East Portersville Road/Rt. 488 East, Portersville PA 16051. Louisa May Alcott’s beloved story, Little Women, will arrive on the stage at Lincoln High School in Ellwood City on Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, November 12 at 2 p.m. You may have read the book or seen one of the movies, but you haven’t seen the story come to life as it will in this Broadway musical adaptation. Eastern Star Pulled Pork Dinner

The Eastern Star Pulled Pork Dinner will be hosted on Saturday, October 14 from 4p.m.-7p.m. at the Christ Presbyterian Church in Ellwood City. Tickets are available at the door, adults are $10 and children 4-11 are $8. Children 3 and under eat for free. Menu will consist of pulled pork, sauerkraut, roasted potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, rolls, dessert and beverage.


Haunted Hill View Manor Offers Free Halloween Trick or Treat

Free Community Concert at Lincoln High

The Ellwood City Community Enrichment is hosting a free concert at the LHS Auditorium this Saturday. The concert will be performed by the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band from Virginia. The Connoquenessing Country Club will be hosting a murder mystery, “Bullets in the Bathtub,” on, October 14, 2017 that is open to the public. Ellwood City Fall Fest: 6,000 People Expected to Attend

If you thought last year’s Fall Fest was crowded, this year is expected to be even more populous according to Borough Manager, Bob Villella. “This year there is expected to be at least 600 vehicles at the car cruise and upwards of 6,000 in attendance. That’s an increase of nearly 2,500 people since last year,” Villella stated.
